தமிழகத்தில் டெல்டா உட்பட பல்வேறு மாவட்டங்களில் கனமழை பெய்து வருகிறது. இலங்கை அருகே காற்றழுத்த தாழ்வு நிலை நிலவுவதால் நவம்பர் 29-ஆம் தேதி முதல் டிசம்பர் 1-ஆம் தேதி வரை கடலோர மாவட்டங்கள் உட்பட தமிழகத்தில் பல்வேறு இடங்களில் கனமழை பெய்ய வாய்ப்புள்ளதாக வானிலை ஆய்வு மையம் அறிவிப்பு வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. மேலும் டிசம்பர் 1 முதல் மழை குறைய வாய்ப்பு உள்ளது என வானிலை ஆய்வு மையம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

அதன்படி இன்று காவிரி டெல்டா மாவட்டங்கள் உள்பட தமிழகத்தின் பல்வேறு இடங்களில் பரவலாக மழை பெய்து வருகிறது. தஞ்சை மாவட்டம் கும்பகோணம், பாபநாசம், அணைக்கரை உள்ளிட்ட பகுதிகளில் மழை பெய்து வருகிறது. மேலும் திருவாரூர் மாவட்டம் திருத்துறைப்பூண்டி, மன்னார்குடி உள்ளிட்ட பகுதிகளிலும் கடலூர் மற்றும் அதன் சுற்று வட்டார பகுதிகளில் பரவலாக மழை பெய்து வருகிறது.

பிளஸ் 1 பொதுத் தேர்வில், தனித் தேர்வர்களுக்கு, இன்டர்னல் மார்க் எனப்படும், அகமதிப்பீடு மதிப்பெண் கிடையாது' என, அரசு தேர்வுத் துறை அறிவித்துள்ளது.

ஆனால், தேர்ச்சி பெறாத பாடத்தை மீண்டும் எழுதி, தேர்ச்சி பெற்ற பிறகே சான்றிதழ் வழங்கப்படும்; அதுவரை, மதிப்பெண் பட்டியல் மட்டுமேவழங்கப்படும் என, அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.இந்த விதிகளை, அரசு தேர்வுத் துறையின், http://www.dge.tn.gov.in என்ற, இணையதளத்தில் தெரிந்து கொள்ளலாம்.

கஜா புயலால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட மாணவர்கள் நீட் தேர்வுக்கு விண்ணப்பிக்க கூடுதல் கால அவகாசம் தர வேண்டும் என்று மத்திய அரசுக்கு தமிழக அரசு கடிதம் எழுதி உள்ளது.

‘நீட்’ தேர்வுக்கு விண்ணப்பிக்க இந்த மாதம் 30ந்தேதி (நாளை) கடைசி நாளாகும். தற்போது கஜா புயலால் நாகை, திருவாரூர், தஞ்சாவூர், புதுக்கோட்டை உள்பட பல்வேறு மாவட்டங்கள் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. இன்னும் இந்த மாட்டங்களில் கனமழை பெய்து வருகிறது.

பல்வேறு கிராமங்களில் அடிப்படை கட்டமைப்புகள் சேதமடைந்தும், கிராமங்களிடையே ஒருங்கிணைப்பு இல்லாத நிலையும் உள்ளது. மாணவர்களின் சான்றிதழ்கள் சேதம் அடைந்துள்ளன.

இதனால் நீட் தேர்வுக்கு விண்ணப்பிக்கும் நேரத்தை நீட்டித்து தரும்படி மத்திய அரசுக்கு தமிழக அரசின் சார்பில் கடிதம் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளது. தொலைபேசி மூலமும் பேசப்பட்டு உள்ளது.

இந்த நிலையில், உச்சநீதிமன்றத்தில் இதுதொடர்பான வழக்கு விசாரணைக்கு வந்தது. அப்போது நீட் தேர்வுக்கு மாணவர்கள் விண்ணப்பிக்க ஒரு வாரம் கால அவகாசம் அளிக்கப்பட வேண்டும் என்று தேசிய தேர்வு முகமைக்கு உச்சநீதிமன்றம் உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளது.

அப்துல்லாபுரம் விமான நிலைய சீரமைப்பு பணிகள் தீவிரமாக நடைபெற்று வருகிறது. ஓடுதளம் அமைக்கும் பணிகள் முடிவடையும் நிலையில் உள்ளது.

வேலூரை அடுத்த அப்துல்லாபுரத்தில் செயல்படாமல் இருந்த விமான நிலையத்தை சீரமைத்து மீண்டும் பயன்பாட்டுக்கு கொண்டு வருவதற்கான பணிகள் நடைபெற்று வருகிறது. பணிகள் முடிந்ததும் சென்னையில் இருந்து வேலூர் வழியாக பெங்களூருவுக்கு சிறிய ரக விமானம் இயக்க முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இதற்காக பல்வேறு கட்ட ஆய்வுகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு பணிகள் தொடங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. முதல் கட்டமாக இங்கு ஏற்கனவே இருந்த விமான ஓடுதளத்தை சீரமைக்கும் பணி தொடங்கியது. தற்போது ஓடுதளத்தின் உயரத்தை அதிகரிக்கும் பணி நடைபெற்று வருகிறது. இந்த பணியில் சேலத்தை சேர்ந்த தனியார் நிறுவனம் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளது.

20-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட பணியாளர்கள் இந்த பணியில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளனர். அவர்கள் ஓடுதளத்தின் உயரத்தை அதிகரித்து அதை சரிசெய்யும் பணியில் ஈடுபட்டு வருகிறார்கள். ஓடுதளத்தின் நடுவே தண்ணீர் செல்லும் சிறிய ஓடைபோன்ற பகுதி வருகிறது. அந்த பகுதியை மட்டும் விட்டுவிட்டு மற்ற பகுதிகள் உயர்த்தப்பட்டு விட்டன.
